Another go-to recipe in our house, this easy sriracha mayo recipe is the perfect little sauce for all sorts of dishes!
I am not a fan of boring food. Simple, yes, definitely. But since it’s so easy to make any foods look and taste wonderful, I see no reason that food need be boring. I am a big fan of sauces and garnishes. For example, I love to keep green onions and sesame seeds on hand. They’re perfect for garnishing stir frys and other Asian or Thai dishes. There’s nothing complicated about it – just slice up a green onion and toss a few pieces on each dish, and then sprinkle with sesame seeds!
One of my favorite sauces to make is this easy sriracha mayo. It’s made from only three things – sriracha, mayo and water. I even make mine vegan and soy free by utilizing a vegan, soy free mayo! (I’m not vegan, I just happen to not tolerate soy or eggs very well lately.) It’s absolutely delicious paired with our Korean Beef Bowls!
- 1/2 cup mayo (I use a soy free vegan version)
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1-2 tbsp water
- Mix all ingredients together. Serve over salad or rice or rice bowls!
You can adjust the amount of spice by adjusting the amount of sriracha you use. You can also make a thicker or thinner sauce by adjusting the amount of water you add.
