When we last left off with the pink and gold girl’s bedroom makeover with the FrogTape® Paintover Challenge for our daughter, things were a bit of a mess. Which is bound to happen when making over a room, am I right?
But thankfully things don’t stay a mess for long and Lilly’s room is looking rather beautiful now:
If you recall, FrogTape® challenged us to makeover a room for $1000.
So how did we spend that $1000?
Well as I mentioned we already had a bed and dresser.
We had also already purchased Lilly a craft desk shortly after moving in.
But she needed nightstands and another bookshelf. Not to mention table lamps, a rug and pretty accessories like wall art.
And of course, paint to cover all the old blue paint.
I think we created the lovely ‘Luscious Layers’ look we were going for, don’t you?
Plus our girl is pretty happy with her pink and gold girl’s bedroom makeover!
From May 22-28th 2017 you can vote for your favorite Paintover Challenge Room HERE.
If our space wins, $5000 will go to SafeHope Home.
SafeHope Home is a space that provides long-term recovery programs designed to guide sexually exploited or trafficked women and youth into full rehabilitation and re-integration into society.
