The slow cooker is frequently my best friend when we’re busy. This pulled chicken recipe uses only three ingredients and is super quick and tasty!

3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken

I’ve seen several variations of pulled chicken online. Many of them have onions or lemons or something else. My version has only three ingredients – including the chicken.

3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken

Yield: 6 -8
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4 hours
Total Time: 4 hours 5 minutes

You need an easy dinner, yes? This 3 ingredient slow cooker pulled chicken is super simple with only a few basic ingredients.


  • 4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, frozen
  • 1 bottle of bbq sauce
  • 1 can of cola


  1. Spray the slow cooker with non-stick spray. Add chicken breasts.
  2. Pour BBQ sauce over chicken.
  3. Add full can of cola.
  4. Cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
  5. Serve on buns (or gluten free bread) with coleslaw or salad on the side.
  6. *I used Kraft BBQ Sauce and Blue Sky (caffeine free) Cola
