I think I may have said this once or twice before, but fall is one of my favorite seasons. It's so beautiful. It marks the beginning of routine again and it means that Christmas is coming soon (sorry, couldn't help it!). Typically after a long, hot summer fall's cool temperatures and crisp air are very welcome.
Unfortunately, at least where we live, it's been blisteringly hot so far this fall. Like end of July hot. Cicadas singing, heat waves off the pavement type of hot. The weather is being very rebellious! No cool temps or crisp air yet.
So what's a girl to do? How do I celebrate the arrival of my beloved Fall when it's so hot? How do I make it seem like it's fall inside when it's so hot outside?
With fresh flowers of course! (Fresh flowers are how you celebrate anything and everything, yes?!)
We Can Arrange That!
This bouquet was hand delivered just the other day from FTD Flowers and I love it!
FTD kinda rocks! No matter what you want to celebrate, or what you want to say, FTD Flowers takes what’s on their customer’s mind to craft sentiments in a breathtaking bouquet. Each stem is intentionally chosen to articulate a special message. FTD makes more than just flowers; they make handcrafted connections, every single day.
Just look at this bouquet and the super sweet note.
The flowers are perfect. So neutral – my favorite, of course – but with a tiny hint of late fall/early summer color. Hydrangeas and roses also happen to be my favorite mix in a bouquet. The best part is that the arrangement was locally handmade and hand delivered by a very sweet FTD Florist (who very kindly pointed out that the package was also very heavy before handing it over, saving me a mess on the floor and a ruined bouquet!).
I think I'll just put this right here and stare at it for awhile.
Do you celebrate or decorate with fresh flowers? Isn't having flowers delivered such a treat?
