We’ve put together a pretty pastel spring dining room table to share with you. Plus all the resources for you to create it at your house too!
With each season, and sometimes more often than that, we like to put together a new table setting to inspire you to create a pretty table at home. To actually use the good dishes and all the pretty things and to share them with your friends and family. This time it’s a pastel spring dining room table!
For this table setting, we’re happy to be participating in a table setting tour, hosted by Tammy of Pink Peppermint Design. If you’re coming here from Shine Your Light‘s lovely table setting post, welcome to Home Made Lovely, (formerly AKA Design). We are a home and lifestyle company focused on creating a beautiful home and a lovely life – in the midst of all the craziness. I’m Shannon and in these pages you will find hundreds of real decorating ideas, simple DIY projects, yummy recipes and loving encouragement for you, beautiful momma.
Pastel Spring Dining Room Table + Where to Find it All!
To start with, of course is the table. Ours is the Calistoga Dining Room Table from TheBrick.com.
On top of the table, we added a pretty ruffled linen runner and two vases of white tulips. Our runner was found at Winners, but you can find a similar one here.
Then we layered our favorite chargers with gold rimmed antique dishes that were my grandmother’s. And we topped those with shapely green side plates and aqua blue bowls.
And then we totally cheated with the flatware. I’d love to have actual gold utensils to set our table with, but alas, it’s not in our budget at the moment. So I found the next best thing…plastic gold cutlery! The upside is that it can be thrown out (I’m not a huge fan of disposable things, but sometimes it’s okay), which helps to balance out hand-washing the antique china!
And of course, our blue and green paisley napkins paired with huge spring floral napkin rings!
Then we simply added in water glasses and stemless wine glasses, a few faux Easter eggs, some moss for texture and mini bird’s nests.
What do you think of this pastel spring dining room table? What are your favorite spring colors to decorate with? Do you have any special dishes? Do you use them?
