I love decorating bedrooms.
But really I do. I adore making all rooms prettier.
More lovable and livable.
My absolute favorite way of doing that is to mix and match neutrals. Neutrals in a space become rich and beautiful when various shades of cream, beige, taupe and white are used. This is especially true when they are combined with loads of texture in the form of mixed woods, fabrics and metals.
Three Neutral Bedroom Inspiration Ideas
Using Cymax bedroom furniture and bedroom sets as a place to start, I’ve come up with three different (yet still neutral) bedroom mood boards with beds as the focal point. Neutral bedroom inspiration, or if you prefer, neutral bedroom eye candy!
The first look is a Modern Farmhouse Bedroom.
This bedroom is perfect for anyone who lives in a cute little farmhouse down a winding country road – or for someone who dreams of that farmhouse whilst living somewhere decidedly less rural!
Wide wood planked floors, a classic iron bed and basic white dressers paired with a slightly modern take on farmhouse chandelier and a rattan bench make this neutral bedroom inspiration a welcome retreat at the end of a long day.
The second look is a Traditional Neutral Bedroom.
Plain. Simple. No fuss.
The straight lines of the dresser and nightstand are softened by the curvy lines of the lamps and the oh-so-cozy tufted headboard. (Cymax has some beautiful beds and lots of ready to assemble beds which make creating a new bedroom easy!)
The Traditional Neutral Bedroom is timeless and elegant without being either too masculine or too feminine. This bedroom is for you if you like simple things and don’t ever veer too far to the edgy side of home decor styles.
The third and final neutral bedroom inspiration look is a Rustic Neutral Bedroom.
Dark wood stain and completely straight lines put this bedroom decidedly on the masculine side of design styles, although some accessories could soften the look a little. Paired with fresh white ruffled or ruched bedding, and a pretty chandelier it would make a great master bedroom sanctuary. Or add a plaid duvet and sheets in denim shades and you’ve got a great look for a teen boy’s bedroom. Platform beds would work well in this room as well.
So there you have it – three very different yet all neutral bedroom inspiration ideas.
Have you ever shopped Cymax for bedroom furniture? (I hadn’t until now!) Which look is your favorite?
*This post was sponsored by Cymax. But of course the bedroom inspiration put together is all me! I would never share anything I didn’t like or wouldn’t buy myself.
