How to make your own odor eliminator spray (like febreeze)

Materials

You could use either tap water or distilled water in your homemade cleaning products. The reasons for using distilled vs tap water would depend on your local tap water. If your tap water has a lot of minerals in it (i.e. if you have hard water), it could leave “water marks”, which would of course be annoying when you’re trying to clean!

Instructions

  1. Start by combining the warm water with your two tablespoons of baking soda.
  2. Add in the witch hazel and swirl the mixture in your container of choice.
  3. Finally, add the 14 essential oil drops and close your container. Make sure it’s on tight!
  4. Shake the bottle until you feel it’s been mixed thoroughly.

Notes

Spray your room with your new amazing and natural odor eliminator room freshener!

*Note because there’s Witch Hazel and Corn or Tapioca Starch in this mixture, your bottle nozzle may get a white film on it. Just give it a rinse before use and wipe with a towel.

*Always test in an inconspicuous place to be sure your fabric is color-fast!

I am an avid follower of everything that is natural. In terms of fresheners, this is different according to many as I read and many of them are dangerous to health. I have read on some forums that they can even cause serious illness. The idea for a natural freshener, an eliminator of bad smells is a nice option. I will use it myself today. Naturally, probably healthy and fragrant! <3 Regards, great entry!
