Chalkboard labels that is!
Awhile back our friends Pattie and Jamie at Let's Talk Chalk sent us some really awesome chalkboard labels to try out. I feel horrible because we've been using a few of them and haven't even shown you yet. Bad blogger!
The first place to get some label love was some little aluminum pots I picked up at Ikea. Dean actually drilled holes in them for me for some S hooks and I bought a plain old Ikea towel bar to hang them on. Add a wire basket, a magnet board and an old license plate and voila – super easy vintage style desk organization!
And I went out and bought some farmhouse jars just for my chalkboard labels! Ha!
Oh and one of my favourite uses for the chalkboard labels was at Thanksgiving (Canadian) this year. Dean made us some ah-mazing place-cards and I trimmed some of Let's Talk Chalk's labels to match the rounded top…
We also used some for a summer BBQ on toothpicks to label gluten free vs regular deserts, but I didn't remember to snap pics – with 50 people here it was a little busy!
Pretty versatile, no? What other uses could YOU think of?
