By combining ingredients ahead of time, these freezer smoothies are even faster to make than traditional smoothies! Mix and match ingredients.
I know I totally just shared a smoothie recipe last week. (3 Ingredient Banana Berry Smoothie, remember?) But I’ve got another easy way to enjoy a healthy smoothie in a hurry! I call them Freezer Smoothies.
- 1/2 cup spinach or other greens
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup berries
- 1/4 cup nuts
- Place all ingredients - except water - in a freezer bag and freeze.
- When you want to make your smoothie just take the bag from the freezer and dump the contents into a blender.
- Add water and blend until smooth.
The ingredients listed will make 2 small smoothies or one large smoothie.
TIP: If you want to freeze a week’s worth of smoothies just multiply the recipe and freeze a few more bags!
