Let’s ditch the overwhelm and figure you exactly where YOU need to focus in your home!

Your Home Era Quiz Results are in and…

You’re in your Organizing Era

Your challenge (should you accept it 😉) is to organize all the things in your home. Because organizing today leads to a more functional home tomorrow!

Listen, we all want a peaceful, calm, joyful space to come home to.

But instead of living in a home you love and can be proud of (if you got this quiz result) there’s a good chance that:

  • You’re overwhelmed and have no idea where to start organizing your home (maybe because it ALL needs organizing).
  • You don’t know where to put all the necessary and wanted things, and everything having its own home within your home is just a pipe dream at this point.
  • You don’t want to waste any (more) money on bins, baskets, and containers that just don’t work.

And all that lack of organization is keeping your home from functioning the way it should.

Which, btw, is costing you your time, money, and sanity!

I USED TO FEEL the same way TOO

I spent years wishing for a more organized home.

I tried all kinds of things:

  • Buying more pretty organizers (because surely those would help, right?), only to find they didn’t fix anything.
  • Starting one organizing task and then jumping to another before I finished.
  • Organizing the way others did and not in a way that worked for me any my family.

After a while, I realized that I was going about organizing my home all wrong and that there was a better way

I discovered that there’s an order to organizing!

There are 5 simple steps that you must follow. And you must follow them in order!

The proper way to organize your home looks like this:

Step 1: Set Clear Goals
Your why will keep you going. Define what you want to achieve with the organization. Do you want easier access, better functionality, better sleep, less stress, save time, save money, or a more aesthetically pleasing space?

Step 2: Prioritize Areas to Organize
The place to begin is the space that will give you the quickest win. Which rooms or spaces need organizing first/most?

Step 3: Create Zones
Think of the room in terms of how you use it. Divide your space/room into zones based on function or category. When you know how you want to use your space, you can better design the space you want.

Step 4: Choose Organization Wisely
Choosing organizational storage is like shopping for shoes; choose bins, baskets, shelves, and organizers that not only fit your items and space but also complement the overall look.

Step 5: Label Everything!
Labels are the key to getting and staying organized.

If you follow my process:

  • You’ll know EXACTLY where to start organizing.
  • You won’t waste another cent on bins, baskets, and containers that don’t work for you.
  • Your home will begin to function so much better, in a way that works for YOU…
  • And you will fall in love with your home and be proud to invite your friends and family in.

You have inspired me to get organized and get rid of things I don’t use anymore or clothes I think I might wear, even though they don’t fit me anymore. It’s nice when I start to see progress because it makes me want to keep going. Thank you for taking the time to be my guide!

A message from Shannon

It breaks my heart to see women, and mommas especially, struggling with their homes. Feeling overwhelmed and frustrated by the mess and like they’ll never be able to do anything about it. Thinking they’re not talented or creative enough to make their homes more stylish.

I remember that feeling well because that was me too. I remember too many piles and too many tchotchkes. I remember choosing the wrong paint color again and again and not knowing how to put patterns and colors together. I remember feeling so unhappy with my home.

And when I finally decided enough was enough in my own home, I wasn’t sure how to change it. I wished for something, anything that would help me love my home.

Which is why I created Home Made Lovely. To show you how to love where you live. To find joy in every corner. To add the style and organization that would allow you and your family to flourish in your home. Without taking years and years to figure it out on your own.

So, what comes next?
