Sometimes when we do holiday tours, the details can get lost in the shuffle of all the photos.
To help you and I both to enjoy all the pretties, some of my friends and I have collaborated to bring you All Through the Holidays, a blog hop where we take a bit of a closer look at the Christmas decorating details.
Farmhouse Style Christmas Details and Vignettes
Since our big room switcheroo last week, our living room is now our dining room and our dining room is now our living room. Because of this – even though we were supposed to share details of just our Christmas living room – we’re going to show a few details from both rooms.
We hope you enjoy just a few more Christmas decorating details from our home…

Such a beautiful room Shannon!! Love sharing this tour day with you my friend!
Looks gorgeous as always Shannon! I love the Happy Holidays print and your shelving styling is always amazing!
Shannon, there are so many details to take in, I could not choose a single area if I had to. I just love it all. I can tell you poured your heart into your home this year and it shows. I really love the vintage box filled with small logs and greenery. Thanks for sharing your home with us for the All Through the House Tour. xxoo, Barb
Your rooms looks amazing, living room, dining room, whatever 🙂 I have to figure out what Canadian Tire is because I want that fireplace and everything else you mentioned that came from there. I’m assuming it’s not a place to get white walls for my van 🙂
Thank you for the extra hard work of giving us information of where to find these things. I bought the Home Hardware stag head in white. He is so sweet.
Some of your US mail order sights do not offer Canadian delivery. How do you manage?
I have bought smaller items from Ikea and tried their home delivery. It went very well. It
saved me the cost of driving into the city and back. Everything came in one box for a great
shipping cost. Some of your readers might not be aware of this service.
*Smiles*
So many charming Christmas touches, Shannon!
Shannon your home is so pretty and festive. I love that polar bear pillow!! Thanks for joining the tour!
Looooove!!! Your home is gorgeous. I would love to get a deer head like yours – the one from Home hardware. Did you get the 20″ or the really big 33″? I’m thinking the 20″ will be big enough but wasn’t sure. I have to have them special order it in to my store – but so gorgeous! Thanks!
I absolutely love your home and style Shannon! I love how your added your Christmas decor in with your everyday decor. It’s perfectly done, not over stated or understated, but perfect!
Wow! A room switcheroo. So fun. How are you liking the new set up? Love how it looks. Thanks for all the sources.
I Love your shelving posted. Can you tell me where you purchased them? They are the steel and it looks like the shelves themselves are old barn wood.
Thank you in advance

We actually built them! And there’s a tutorial here: http://akadesign.ca/diy-project-restoration-hardware-inspired-shelves/
shannon, you have done an amazing job in creating such a festive and warm holiday home. Your photos are always so perfect. I have that naughty nice sign but can’t remember where I put it so I didn’t put it out.
Thank you! I hope you find your sign!
