In this post: A fall home tour with all my Canadian blogger friends!

So a couple of weeks ago I was happy to be a part of an eclectically fall home tour series with several wonderful bloggers.

And this week I’m honored to be part of another fall home tour series that my friend Christina from The DIY Mommy and I started last year – the Canadian Bloggers Home Tour!

Fall Home Tour with Canadian Bloggers

I bet you’re wondering why I’m doing a second fall tour when I just did one.

Well, some new goodies arrived between the first tour and this one, so I actually have some new stuff to share. And I got my front porch all pretty and decorated to show you too.

Plus I just love to share pretty pictures!

Home Made Lovely Fall Home Tour

Our front yard still has a few signs of summer – namely the Canada flag and the string lights under the porch. The flag will come down in October to be tucked safely away for the winter and the porch string lights will be switched out for lights along the eaves.

Home Made Lovely Porch Rockers

Our two white porch rockers were one of my favorite additions early this summer. They’re admittedly not as comfy as I’d like, but they sure look cute out there!

Home Made Lovely Fall Porch Pumpkins

We had to search high and low one rainy weekend to find pumpkins and mums in early September. I think these giant beauties were totally worth it!

Why don’t you come inside?

Home Made Lovely Fall Entryway

Our entryway didn’t really get much fall decor.

We’ve just been too busy and it’s quite frankly it’s usually covered with a chaotic pile of shoes and a heap of jackets. That and newspaper fingerprints from certain children that insist on touching the walls after they’ve folded their papers for delivery.

From our entryway, you go directly into our living room – which got spruced up for this tour with a few new pillows by my friend Lucy from Craftberry Bush.

I just love her stuff!

Next to our living room is our dining room.

And we got a pretty new table in here from Leon’s. You’ll be seeing more of it in the coming season.

(Don’t worry the “old” table that we built will be making a home in my basement studio!)

Don’t you just love those A-frame legs?!

And look at the plank wood table top…

Oh la la!

It all fits so well into our dining room, don’t you think?

And finally I thought I’d finish with a little tiny touch of fall in our master bedroom.

  1. Love all your Fall touches, Shannon. So cozy! And that table is really stunning. Fits so well with your decor. ~Kerri, A Pop of Pretty

  2. As a blogger from Ontario I always look forward to these Canadian tours. Your dining room really stands out to me this time, from the beautiful new table (goregous planks indeed!) and the drippy chandelier, to the stacks of dishes on the sideboard and the unique center arrangement on the table. Your home is always lovely, Shannon. Thanks for the tour.

  3. Looks beautiful as usual. Might I ask where you got the beautiful candle sticks that are on your table. I love the wood tone. So warm looking. A nice change of pace for this time of year.

    1. The candlestands are from Birch Lane. The set was about $150 USD but they have gotten so much love and so many comments and so much use. They are worth every penny!

  4. Thanks for sharing! I had fun taking a click through to some of the other tours- it was good to learn of some other fellow Canadian Bloggers πŸ™‚ Love your new table- some other favorites include the cotton wreath as well as the candle stands in your dining room. Just lovely!

  5. This is simply lovely as always, Shannon! I love your use of texture to make the neutral colours look happy and alive. I love your new table too! Thanks for doing this tour with me. <3

  6. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous Shannon! I love all your fall details- and how fun to see the front of your house and your fall front porch! I love the new table as well. Your floor to ceiling board and batten gets me every time. Beautiful job! (Sorry it took me so long to get over here- it was a busy week. But this is the perfect way to spend my time with my Sunday morning coffee:)
