I’m one of those people that loves September and back to school.
Don’t get me wrong I thoroughly enjoy summer and its lack of schedules and rushing about.
But come August I start to crave the routine and organization that fall brings with it.
This year I wanted to really give our girls some more organization for their space.

We plan to do some shuffling and give them each their own rooms soon, but they will be starting the school year sharing the same room.
And since Post-it® Brand knows a lot about organizing and back to school, we thought who better to partner with for a highly organized space?!
POST-IT® Dry Erase Surface
As part of the girls’ room redo last year we designed and installed a large desk surface for them to use.
When we heard about Post-it® Dry Erase Surface, we had one of those light bulb moments.
Watch the video to see where we installed the Dry Erase Surface.

Pretty fun, right?
Like I said in the video the dry erase desk can be used for math problems, spelling lists, notes and doodles!
POST-IT® Notes
As for the rest of the organizing we turned to the ever-trusty Post-it® Notes – in all shapes and sizes – in bright Cape Town Colour Collection to go with the girls’ bedroom decor.
We chose Post-it® Big Pads for brainstorming big ideas, drawing (almost like large art paper that you can stick anywhere!) and large list making.
We used Post-it® Notes with lines for to do lists and check lists – using one colour each for school work, chores and friend reminders like buying birthday gifts, etc.
There are smaller ones we used for leaving notes…or taking notes when studying.
And of course we had to get some Post-it® Flags for marking pages!
I think our sweet girls will be pretty organized this school year, don’t you?!

I had no clue that Post-It had those dry erase surfaces! Totally getting my creative juices flowing 🙂 And I hoard office supplies so this would be so bad for me 😉 Thanks for sharing!
I love love love post-its and I would absolutely love having a whiteboard desk!
