Learn how to love your home in this 30 day series about making small improvements to, being grateful for and seeing the beauty in the home you have.
I believe that home is the most important place on earth. I’ve always felt this way.
Home is a space where you can go to rest and recharge. It’s a safe place for you and for your family. It’s also a place where you can invite other people so that they can rest and recharge. I know this to be true because we have created this space in our home…and I want the same for you.
I also know that for many of you it’s hard to love your home and see the beauty in it because of all of its imperfections. When you’re unhappy with your home, it’s easy to take it for granted and not appreciate it. It’s even easy to dislike it and dare I say, despise it.
But – newsflash – no home this side of heaven is perfect. But you can learn to love your home, the home you have right now.
Over the 30 days we tackle a few simple things around your house.
You’ll clean out some junk (both physical junk and mental junk), create some coziness, share some old memories and begin to see your home in a new way.
You’ll mull over future plans, come up with ideas for making new memories and you’ll learn a few things to think about when you’re feeling less than happy with your home going forward.
All while I’m right there with you, cheering you on.
