Whether it’s running them to soccer practice, ballet, or just trying to get everyone fed, clothed, and off to school in the morning, being a mom is a tough job. 10 Bible Verses for The Exhausted Mom
When you’re feeling the strain of motherhood, take some time to read these verses. Memorize them if you can. Print them out (below) to keep nearby if you’re too exhausted to memorize them. I’m with you, tired Momma.
1. He will give you rest
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
2. God will supply your needs
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
3. Everyone gets tired
“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:30–31)
4. God will carry you

7. God sees you

“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. 9. God is your rest
